Jordan McCollam, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Owner of New Insight Counseling
I have been providing counseling for over 10 years total, and have been practicing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2013. I work with individual adults, couples, teenagers and families, around issues including, but not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Couples Counseling, Communication, Trauma, Grief, PTSD, Boundaries, LGBT issues, Fertility issues, Spirituality, Parenting, and Divorce.
I strongly believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where each client can feel comfortable to express themselves, and work together with me as their therapist to grow, gain insight, and work towards their personal goals. I greatly value diversity and inclusion, and believe that every person deserves a safe place where their voice can be heard. My theoretical orientation is based in the Carl Rogers “client-centered” approach, utilizing his concept of “unconditional positive regard” to create an atmosphere of safety, and to honor each individual’s unique journey. I also utilize techniques from cognitive
behavioral therapy or CBT.
